PongoNotes1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using PongoNotes, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. PongoNotes reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. The service
PongoNotes is a note-taking application operated and hosted by PongoNotes. The service allows you to create, organise, and manage personal notes, folders, tags, and file attachments.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Contact us immediately via the Support page if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PongoNotes to:
- Store or distribute illegal content of any kind.
- Attempt to access other users’ data or circumvent access controls.
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the server infrastructure.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
PongoNotes may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms without notice.
5. Your content
You retain full ownership of the notes and files you create. PongoNotes does not access, read, or use your content for any purpose other than operating the service (e.g. performing backups or maintenance). Your content is not shared with any third party.
6. Data and privacy
Use of this service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is collected, used, and protected.
7. Service availability
PongoNotes is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantee of uptime, data durability, or continued availability. It is your responsibility to export and back up your own data regularly using the Profile → Export my data feature.
8. Limitation of liability
PongoNotes is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PongoNotes shall not be liable for any loss of data, loss of access, or other damages arising from your use of this service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. PongoNotes may also terminate or suspend access at its discretion. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed.
